#1. Acknowledgment of Risk and Responsibility
I hereby recognize and agree that by engaging in Desert Dream Skating Club activities, I fully comprehend the nature of figure skating ("Activity") and confirm that I am appropriately qualified, in good health, and in the necessary physical condition to participate in such Activity.
I acknowledge that if, at any time, I consider the event conditions to be unsafe, I will promptly cease my participation in the Activity.
#2. Assumption of Risk
I fully understand and accept that participating in this Activity carries inherent risks, including, but not limited to, the possibility of severe bodily harm, permanent injury, paralysis, or even death. These risks may arise from my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the environment in which the Activity takes place, or the negligence of the "Releasees" as described below. I recognize that certain risks may be unknown or not immediately apparent at this time, and I fully accept and assume all such risks, along with all responsibility for any losses, expenses, or damages that I may incur as a result of my participation in the Activity.
#3. Release and Waiver of Liability
I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to bring any legal action against Desert Dream Skating Club, head team members, directors, officers, administrators, sponsors, volunteers, agents, employees, staff, instructors, trainers, other participants, and, if applicable, the owners and lessors of the premises where the Activity occurs (each considered one of the “Releasees” herein) from any liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages arising from or alleged to arise from, in whole or in part, the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, including any negligent rescue operations.
#4. Indemnification
I further agree that if, despite this release, waiver of liability, and assumption of risk, I or anyone acting on my behalf initiates a claim against any of the Releasees, I will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each of the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or expense that any may incur as a result of such a claim.
#5. Team Rules and Supervision
Desert Dream Skating Club reserves the right, but not the obligation, to establish rules, guidelines, and/or ice monitors for Club Ice. I acknowledge and accept that Desert Dream Skating Club is not responsible for supervising members during Club Ice sessions.
#6. Binding Effect
This Authorization and Waiver is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, legal representatives, successors, and assigns. The provisions of this Authorization and Waiver will remain in full force and effect even after the termination of the Activities conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of Desert Dream Skating Club, whether by mutual agreement, by operation of law, or otherwise.
#7. Media Release
I grant permission to Desert Dream Skating Club to use any photograph, video recording, film, audio recording, or other media capturing my image during club activities for promotional purposes without any financial or other compensation.
#8. Acceptance
I have read and fully comprehend this RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. I acknowledge that I have surrendered substantial rights by signing it, and I have done so voluntarily and without any inducement or assurance of any kind. I intend this to be a comprehensive and unconditional release of all liability to the fullest extent allowed by law and agree that if any part of this agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Terms and Conditions Guidelines & Updates
1. Sanitization Measures: All sections and surfaces within the rinks and common areas have been thoroughly sanitized and treated with an antimicrobial solution. This includes, but is not limited to, the front lobby, rental skates, floors, doors, bleachers, rink glass, boards, benches, penalty boxes, locker rooms, showers, and restrooms.

2. Restricted Areas: Certain sections of the facility may have restricted or no access. Please remain within designated zones, changing rooms are for changing and must not prolong the stay along with food and drinks within the zone.
3. Preparedness: Skaters are encouraged to arrive ready to skate, with their skates already on if possible. Rental skates will be picked up by the skater. Please remain seated and/or until your instructor guides you onto the ice at the start of the session.
4. Instructor Protocols: Trainers will minimize physical contact; however, safety protocols will be followed if contact is necessary.
5. Stay Home if Unwell: Do not come to the rink if you or your skater show any signs of illness, including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. Stay home if you suspect you may have been exposed to or infected with COVID-19.
6. Hand Hygiene: Frequent hand washing with soap and water is strongly encouraged.
7. Minimize Contact: Most doors will be left open to reduce the need to touch surfaces. Please follow the designated traffic flow pattern.
8. Personal Water Bottles: The drinking fountains are closed. Bring a personal, pre-filled water bottle with your name clearly labeled. The Club cannot provide refills.
9. Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove skaters from the ice if they do not adhere to safety guidelines it’s rules.
10. Timely Arrival: Please arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before your scheduled class.
11. Helmets: for safety of young skaters/ first timers Helmets, knee pads, protective shorts are advised to wear. Beginner Levels to intermediate beginner must bring their own gears, and are also recommended for all other levels.
12. Personal Gloves: Skaters should bring their own gloves, as we do not provide them. For health and safety reasons, gloves should be worn at all times and taken home for washing after class.
13. Illness Reporting: Parents are required to report any illness if their skater shows symptoms after being at the rink.
14. Ongoing Updates: These procedures and rules may be updated at any time to comply with local and team safety guidelines.
15. Cancellations Policy:

All class types must be canceled at least 24 hours before the class start time. Failure to cancel within this time will result in the session being counted and charged in full.

If the club cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., rink closure), skaters will receive a replacement class.

16. Attendance: Skaters who arrive late for any reason will be allowed to join the class, but no extension of time will be provided. This is to ensure that following classes are not disrupted due to scheduling conflicts.

17. ​Package Commitment:

Skaters must adhere to the schedule of the package they have booked.

Classes must be used within the following timeframes from the date of purchase:

1 Class: Must be used within 7 days.
-
10-Hour Package: Must be completed within 60 days.
-
20-Hour Package: Must be completed within 75 days.
-

No extensions will be granted beyond these timeframes. If a skater does not finish their package within the allotted time, they must purchase a new package to continue lessons.

Skaters are responsible for booking and attending all their sessions within the set period. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the remaining sessions.

The price plans and lesson fees for Desert Dream Skating Club do not include the ice rink entry fee. Skaters must pay the rink entry fee directly to the rink's reception upon arrival. Skaters are responsible for covering this additional cost for each session in which they participate.

18. Club Registration and Benefits

Club registration is optional and grants official club membership status.

Registered members enjoy exclusive benefits, including:

Team jackets.

Eligibility for club shows.

Priority invitations to competitions.

Discounted rates on custom private lessons, including program development and creation at no additional charge.

Desert Dream Skating Club reserves the right to invite registered skaters to represent the club in selected competitions based on skill and readiness.

Unregistered skaters have access to all club classes and packages but do not qualify for the member-exclusive benefits listed above.

19. Competition Participation and Fees

Each competition requires a registration fee, set by the organizing body.

Additional coaching fees will apply for support provided during competition downtime.

Coaching attendance involves committed hours at the rink, including travel and support time, and replaces all other scheduled sessions for that day. For this reason, it is charged as a separate service.

These fees vary based on location, travel needs, and the level of on-day support required, with adjustments for events held within or outside the city or/and country.

20. External Trainers Policy:

Skaters are required to commit exclusively to training with Desert Dream Skating Club coaches and staff.

Training with external coaches or instructors is not allowed unless expressly permitted by Desert Dream Skating Club staff.

If allowed, it will be for a limited number of sessions, under specific circumstances, and must be arranged by the club.

Skaters who violate this policy by engaging with external trainers without club permission will face immediate removal from the club.
-
No refunds will be provided in the case of removal due to violations of this policy.

21. Make-Up Classes: It is crucial to schedule a make-up class for any missed lessons. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and depend on space and scheduling.

22. Behaviour And Safety:

Respectful behavior is expected at all times. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior towards coaches, staff, or fellow skaters may result in dismissal from the club without a refund.

Helmets or protective gear may be required for beginners or younger skaters at the coach’s discretion.

23. Communication:

All communications regarding class schedules, cancellations, and updates will be handled through official club channels (email, phone, or official website).

It is the skater’s responsibility to keep up-to-date with club communications to avoid any issues regarding attendance or scheduling.

24. Injuries and Health:

Skaters are responsible for notifying the coach of any injuries or medical conditions before the start of class.

If a skater is injured during a session, they must stop immediately and inform the coach. A doctor’s clearance may be required before returning to the ice.

25. Payment Terms:

All payments for classes must be made in advance. Skaters will not be permitted to participate in any sessions until full payment has been received.

Package deals must be completed within the specified timeframes:
-
1 class within 7 days
-
10-hour packages within 60 days
-
20-hour packages within 75 days

If skaters fail to complete their package within the timeframe, they will need to pay for a new package to continue lessons.

26. Rink Rules:

All skaters must follow the specific rules of the rink, including safety protocols, dress codes, and behavior guidelines.

Skaters should respect the ice surface and avoid damaging it (e.g., no chewing gum, food, or sharp objects allowed on the ice and changing rooms).

27. Refunds:

Refunds are not allowed unless the skater is unable to attend for a long period due to medical reasons, in which case a valid medical note must be provided.

For this reason Refunds for packages will only be issued if a cancellation is made before the start of the package and will incur a 10% processing fee.

In case a skater decides to stop skating, change clubs, or no longer count skating as part of their routine, it is highly encouraged to complete all remaining classes within the purchased package timeframe. No refunds will be provided for unused sessions.

28. Registration and Fees:

Skaters may first register with Desert Dream Skating Club as a member, communicate and confirm with Coach or Staff. This includes completing the registration form and paying the required yearly membership fee.

As part of the registration process, skaters must provide a copy of their identification or passport. This is required to ensure the club can correctly manage submissions for upcoming competitions and place skaters in the appropriate age group or category.

Membership registration is mandatory for all skaters whom wants access to program routine making, competition invites, and other club-related activities.

**All registered and unregistered skaters currently training with Desert Dream Skating Club are required to abide by these rules. As the club and coaches operate under a rental and commission agreement with the ice rink, full compliance is essential to ensure we adhere to the venue’s regulations and operational guidelines.**
